Section 1. The Auditor for the Philippine Islands is hereby directed to credit the account of M. (awÞhi( L. Stewart, Director of Prisons, with the sum of three thousand two hundred and nineteen pesos and four centavos on account of a defalcation of Owen Messet, former sales clerk of the Bureau of Prisons, who was prosecuted, pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to imprisonment for four years by the Court of First Instance of Manila.
