Section 1. The use of the unit of measure known as "picul" is hereby authorized within the Philippine Islands.

Section 2. The equivalent of picul is. ℒαwρhi৷ hereby fixed at one hundred and thirty-seven and one-half Spanish avoirdupois pounds, or sixty-three thousand two hundred and fifty grams, any agreement to the contrary notwithstanding.
Section 3
Section 3. Any person violating any provision of this Act shall be punished by a fine not exceeding one thousand pesos nor less than fifty pesos and in case of insolvency, to suffer imprisonment not exceeding three months nor less than ten days.
