Section 1. Fidel A. Reyes, formerly Director of the Bureau of Commerce and Industry, is hereby relieved of all responsibility in connection with the shortage found in the property accounts of the Bureau of Commerce and Industry in the first half of the year nineteen hundred and twenty-nine. This Act shall not in any way affect the liability under existing law of any other officer or employee in connection with the said shortage, the discharge of Fidel A. Reyes, notwithstanding. 1aшphi1
