Section 1. The Military Governor is hereby authorized to establish a police force for the maintenance of law and order in such of the cities and towns of these Islands as may by him be deemed desirable and advantageous to the public interest.
Section 2. The sum of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars, money of the United States, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Insular Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of paying the expenses incident to the organization and maintenance of the police established pursuant to the provisions of section one hereof. 1aшphi1
Section 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
