Section 1. The sum of five thousand six hundred and twenty eight dollars and fifteen cents, in money of the United States, is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of paying the salaries and traveling expenses of the Philippine Civil Service Board and office force, for the purchase of books for use in preparing civil service examination papers, and for a contingent fund for the Board, for the period from December first, nineteen hundred, to and including March thirty-first, nineteen hundred and one.
