SECTION 1. There is hereby created a special committee to investigate the complaints and grievances of private owners of mined out lands and to evaluate the efforts of mining companies in the restoration and regeneration of said lands into more productive states.

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 367 CREATING A SPECIAL COMMITTEE TO INVESTIGATE COMPLAINTS OF PRIVATE OWNERS OF MINED OUT LANDS

SEC. 2. The Committee shall be composed of the following: Atty. Genaro A. Eslava Officer In Charge Legal Office Office of the President – Chairman Engr. Regino Relova Chief Mining Engineer Bureau of Mines – Member Atty. Romulo Radula Sr. Legal Officer Department of Natural Resources – Member Atty. Enrique Belo Philippine Chamber of Mines – Member
SEC. 3. The Committee shall have all the powers and prerogatives of an investigating committee under Section 71 and 580 of the Revised Administrative Code, including the power to summon witnesses, administer oaths, or take testimony or evidence relevant to the investigation by subpoena or subpoena duces te cum.
SEC. 4. The Committee may ask any department, bureau, office, agency or instrumentality of the government for such assistance as it may need in the performance ofits functions.
