[ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 441, October 19, 1979 ]
CREATING AN ADVISORY COUNCIL IN THE PROVINCE OF CAVITE
WHEREAS, there is an imperative need to accelerate the development of the Province of Cavite, in view of its proximity to Metropolitan Manila, the country’s capital region and business center; and WHEREAS, in pursuance of this objective, it is necessary to create a body that shall advise and assist the governor of the province in formulating programs and policies consonant with the developmental goals of the Government. NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create an advisory council in the Province of Cavite to be composed of the following: Minister Cesar A. Virata Chairman Minister Vicente T. Patarno Member Minister Geronimo Z. Velasco Member Minister Jose J. Leido, Jr. Member Minister Jose A. Roño Member Deputy Minister Alfredo Pio de Roda Member Deputy Minister Rosendo Marquaz Member Assemblywoman Helena Z. Benitez Member Assemblyman Jorge A, Nuñez Member Assemblyman Rogelio Payuan Member The Chairman, Mayors League of Cavite Member The Provincial Commander of Cavite Member The council may call upon any ministry, bureau, office, agency or instrumentality of the Government for such assistance as it may need in the performance of its functions.
