Section 1. Adoption and Declaration of Official Names. Without prejudice to the naming of other features which may later be identified through, among others, advanced scientific and technical studies, the following features of the KIG located in the Municipality of Kalayaan, Province of Palawan and the WPS are hereby named as follows:

Publication

Section 2.

Publication. The National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) is herby directed to produce and publish updated charts and maps reflecting the names set forth under Section 1 hereof. ℒαwρhi৷

Usange

Section 3.

Usange. In accordance with their respective mandates, all national government agencies instrumentalities, including government-owned or -controlled corporations and government financial institutions, are hereby directed to use the names set forth in Section 1 hereof in all official communications, messages, and documents.

Moreover, the Department of Education, Commission on Higher Education, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, and all state universities and colleges are hereby directed to ensure that the names set forth under Section 1 hereof and the updated charts and maps to be published by NAMRIA under Section 2 hereof shall be widely used in educational and training institutions in the country, particularly in conducting research, publishing of textbooks, and preparation of educational or instructional materials.

Funding

Section 4.

Funding. The funding requirements for the initial implementation of this Order shall be charged against the available appropriations of the member-agencies of the NMC, and such other available funding sources as may be identified by the Department of Budget and Management, subject to pertinent budgeting, accounting, and auditing laws, rules, and regulations. ℒαwρhi৷ Thereafter, the funding requirements necessary for the continued implementation of this Order shall be included in the budget proposals of said agencies, subject to the usual budget preparation process.

Separability

Section 5.

Separability. If any part or provision of this Order shall be held invalid or unconstitutional, the provisions not affected thereby shall remain in full force and effect.

Repeal

Section 6.

Repeal. All orders, rules, and regulations, and other issuances or parts thereof which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Order, are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

Effectivity

Section 7.

Effectivity. This Order shall take immediately upon its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
