It being——understood,—That no officer shall receive less than the basic rate of salary corresponding to the grade he/she held as an officer in the Philippine Police Corps prior to the effective date of the fifteen percent salary reduction prescribed in Law Number Four thousand thirty-two, including the longevity pay enjoyed by virtue of article eight hundred and forty-six of the Administrative Code before January 1, nineteen thirty-three,

LISTING THE SALARIES AND ALLOCATIONS OF THE OFFICERS OF THE ARMY OF THE PHILIPPINES

Pursuant to the provisions of Article Ninety of the——Commonwealth Act Number One,——the National Defense Act, I, MANUEL L. QUEZON, President of the Philippines, hereby prescribe the following salary and allowance scale for officers of the Army of Philippines and reserve officers who have been ordered extensive travel on active duty, with the exception of third lieutenants on probation, effective February 1, 1938,

It being——understood,—That no officer shall receive less than the basic rate of salary corresponding to the grade he/she held as an officer in the Philippine Police Corps prior to the effective date of the fifteen percent salary reduction prescribed in Law Number Four thousand thirty-two, including the longevity pay enjoyed by virtue of article eight hundred and forty-six of the Administrative Code before January 1, nineteen thirty-three,

Understanding, furthermore,——That no official will receive less than the salary currently received,

And understanding, finally,—That no officer appointed or designated Chief of the Philippine Police Corps who prior to said appointment or designation served as Chief of Staff or as a Major General of the Philippine Army shall receive, while serving as Chief of the Philippine Police Corps, Philippines, a remuneration, in the form of salary and allowances, less than what he received when he was Chief of Staff or Major General of the Army. 1—шphi1

The salary to be received by each individual officer will be consigned to a staff of officers of the Philippine Army, formed and approved as prescribed in subsection four of the General Provisions, article seven of the——Commonwealth Act Number Two Hundred and Forty-six.

Executive Order Number One Hundred and Forty, dated February 7, 1938, is hereby revoked. 1—шphi1
