Executive Order No. 42 (1992)
the nationwide public consultations need to be as thorough and broad-based as possible so that all substantive issues and concerns relevant to the peace process can be raised and integrated to the national peace program being formulated by the National Unification Commission;
Section 1. Paragraph (a) of Section 2 of Executive Order No. 19, Series of 1992, is hereby amended to read, as follows:
"a. Formulate and recommend, after consulting with the concerned sectors of society, to the President NOT LATER THAN MARCH 16, 1993, a viable general amnesty program and peace that will lead to a just, comprehensive and lasting peace in the country;"
Section 2. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
Done in the City of Manila, this 11th day of December, in the year of our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety-two.
