Executive Order No. 456 (2005)

Republic Act No. 6657 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Law defines agrarian reform as the redistribution of lands, regardless of crops or fruits produced, to farmers and regular farm workers who are landless, irrespective of tenurial arrangement, to include the totality of factors and support services designed to lift the economic status of the beneficiaries and all other arrangements alternative to physical redistribution of lands, such as production or profit sharing, labor

SECTION 1. The Department of Land Reform is hereby renamed as the Department of Agrarian Reform.

SECTION 2

SECTION 2. All orders, rules, regulations and issuances or parts thereof, which are inconsistent with this Executive Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately
