Executive Order No. 530 (1952) — Pursuant to the authority vested in me by Section 3 of Republic Act No. 650, entitled —An Act to Regulate Imports and for Other Purposes and upon the recommendation of the Import Control Commission, I, ELPIDIO QUIRINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby ban the importation of the following commodities in addition to those listed in Annexes —B— and —C— of Executive Order No. 471 dated August 24, 1951:

The ban on the importation of the above-mentioned items shall be lifted as soon as there is evidence to show undue increase in prices and deterioration in the quality thereof.

This Order shall take effect immediately.
