Composition of the PCIC Board

Section 2.

Composition of the PCIC Board. In accordance with PD No. 1467, as amended, the PCIC Board is hereby reorganized and shall now be composed of the following:

a. President of the Land Bank of the Philippines;

b. President of the PCIC;

c. Executive Director of the Agricultural Credit Policy Council;

d. One (1) representative from the private insurance industry, appointed by the President upon nomination by the Secretary of Finance; and

e. Three (3) representatives from the subsistence farmers' sector, preferably representing agrarian reform beneficiaries, cooperatives or associations from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, appointed by the President upon their nomination by different farmer organizations and/or cooperatives.

The appointment or designation of the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, and other officers of the Board of Directors shall be in accordance with RA No. 10149 or the "GOCC Governance Act of 2011."

Separability

Section 3.

Separability. If any part or provision of this Order shall be held invalid or unconstitutional, the provisions not affected thereby shall remain in full force and effect.

Repeal

Section 4.

Repeal. EO No. 148 is hereby repealed. All orders, rules and regulations, and other issuances or parts thereof which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Order, are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

Effectivity

Section 5.

Effectivity. This Order shall take effect immediately.
