Executive Order No. 845, dated September 19, 1950, creating the Peace Fund Campaign Commission, was promulgated for the purpose of raising from voluntary contributions additional funds needed for the maintenance of peace and order; and

Section 1

The Peace Fund Campaign Commission created in Executive Order No

Section 1. The Peace Fund Campaign Commission created in Executive Order No. 345 dated September 19, 1950, as amended by Executive Order No. 477 dated October 12, 1951, is hereby abolished.

Section 2

Section 2. The unexpended balance of the Peace Fund and all the records, properties, and equipment of the Peace Fund Campaign Commission are hereby transferred to the Department of National Defense, the said unexpended balance to be considered as a trust fund and spent for any of the purposes stated in Executive Order No. 345 as amended by Executive Order No. 477.
