Reclassification of the Clark Industrial Estate 5

Section 1.

Reclassification of the Clark Industrial Estate 5. —The IE5 area, measuring approximately 290 hectares, is hereby reclassified as an international center for commerce, aviation, logistics, industry, leisure, and recreation, without prejudice to any rights and interests under existing contracts, leases and business arrangements covering areas within the IE5, which have been lawfully entered into by the CIAC, prior to the effectivity of this Order.

Authority of the CIAC

Section 2.

Authority of the CIAC. —The CIAC is hereby authorized to enter into lease agreements and similar business arrangements covering the IE5 for a broad range of commercial, industrial, leisure and recreation-related activities.

For all other business activities, prior approval of the DOTr and BCDA shall be secured.

Section 3

Section 3.

Separability Clause.—If any provision of this Order is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the remaining provisions not affected thereby shall continue to be in full force and effect.

Section 4

Section 4.

Repeal ing Clause.—All orders, rules and regulations, or other issuances inconsistent with this Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

Section 5

Effectivity

Section 5.

Effectivity. —This Order shall take effect immediately.
