Approval and Adoption of the NTESDP 2018-2022

Section 1.

Approval and Adoption of the NTESDP 2018-2022. —The NTESDP 2018-2022 is hereby approved. All national government agencies and instrumentalities are hereby enjoined, and all local government units, as well as the private sector, are hereby encouraged to adopt, disseminate and support the implementation of the NTESDP 2018-2022, and refer to the same in the development and implementation of their respective TVET programs, projects and policies.

Implementation, Coordination and Monitoring

Section 2.

Implementation, Coordination and Monitoring. —The TESDA is hereby directed to:

a) Ensure that all skills development programs and schemes conform with the quantitative and qualitative objectives of the NTESDP 2018-2022 and all skills trainings and development are aligned with the Philippine Qualifications Framework and all instituted national standards;

b) Monitor the implementation of the NTESDP 2018-2022, and conduct periodic assessment to evaluate its efficiency and effectivity; and

c) Submit, through the Department of Trade and Industry, semi-annual reports to the Office of the President on the implementation of the NTESDP 2018-2022.

Funding

Section 3.

Funding. —The necessary funding for the implementation of the NTESDP 2018-2022 shall be sourced from appropriations intended for the skills development and training programs of the TESDA and the respective budgets of concerned NGAs, subject to applicable budgeting, auditing and accounting rules and regulations.

Separability

Section 4.

Separability. —Should any provision of this Order be declared invalid or unconstitutional, the other provisions not affected thereby shall remain valid and subsisting.

Repeal

Section 5.

Repeal. —All other issuances inconsistent with the provisions of this Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. ℒαwρhi৷

Effectivity. —This Order shall take effect immediately.
