Executive Order No. 88 (1993)

Executive Order No. 81 dated 12 April 1993 prescribed additional functions to the National Unification Commission (NUC) in response to the recommendation of both Houses of Congress as embodied in its Concurrent Resolution No. 05 adopted in March 1993 to put into effect the mechanics of the Presidents grant of amnesty under Proclamation No. 10, as amended by Proclamation No. 10-A, both issued in July 1992;

Section 1. The following functions are hereby transferred to the National Reconciliation and Development Council from the National Unification Commission:

a. Undertake a physical inventory of the more than 4,000 applicants whose applications for amnesty, filed not later than 31 December 1992, have already been processed or are undergoing processing;

b. Determine the crimes for which the applicant voluntarily sought amnesty; and

c. Recommend to the President the qualified applicants to be granted amnesty.

Section 2. The NRDC may create a Technical Committee to assist it in the performance of the foregoing functions. 1aшphi1
