Presidential Decree No. 1643 — WHEREAS, under Section 6 sub-section a of Presidential Decree No. 1264, the term of office of all members of the Board of Governors of the Philippine National Red Cross shall be four years and any member of said board who has served two consecutive full terms of four years each or a total of eight years becomes ineligible for membership in said board for at least two years;

Presidential Decree No. 1643

WHEREAS, under Section 6 sub-section a of Presidential Decree No. 1264, the term of office of all members of the Board of Governors of the Philippine National Red Cross shall be four years and any member of said board who has served two consecutive full terms of four years each or a total of eight years becomes ineligible for membership in said board for at least two years;

Section 1. Section 6, sub-section a, Presidential Decree No. 1264, is hereby amended to read as follows:

"a. The term of office of all members of the Board shall be four years, including those appointed by the President of the Philippines, renewable at the pleasure of the appointing power or elective bodies."
