Presidential Decree No. 1742
WHEREAS, the Project: Gintong Alay which was created pursuant to Letter of Instructions No. 955 has been given expanded objective per Letter of Instructions No. 1022-A, tasking it for the training of Philippine athletes for international competitions;
Section 1. The Project: Gintong Alay may import sport equipment, materials and other supplies as may be required for the attainment of its objectives from its appropriations, contributions or other sources.
Such importations shall be fully exempted from customs duties, levies, charges or taxes of any kind.
Section 2. All laws, decrees, orders, rules and regulations inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly.
Section 3. This Decree shall take effect immediately.
