NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby repeal Presidential Decree No. 1498, otherwise known as the National Security Code effective immediately, without prejudice to any proceedings, cases in Court of transactions that might have arisen from any of the laws embodied in said Code.

REPEALING PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1498 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE NATIONAL SECURITY CODE

WHEREAS, with the issuance of Proclamation No. 2045, there is now a need to repeal the National Security Code.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby repeal Presidential Decree No. 1498, otherwise known as the National Security Code effective immediately, without prejudice to any proceedings, cases in Court of transactions that might have arisen from any of the laws embodied in said Code.

Done in the City of Manila, Philippines, this 21st day of July, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-three.
