[ PROCLAMATION NO. 289, November 06, 1951 ]
DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 16 TO 22, 1951, AS AVIATION WEEK
In order to make the people appreciate the importance of aviation to the progress and security of the nation, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from December 16 to 22, 1951, as Aviation Week.
I enjoin all government officials and employees and all citizens of the Philippines to lend their full cooperation to the observance of this week.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 6th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-one, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the sixth.
