Section 1
Section 1. The first paragraph of Section Ninety-six of Republic Act Numbered Fifty-five hundred and nineteen , entitled "An Act Creating the City of Mandaue," is amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 96. Participation of voters in provincial election. — The qualified voters in the city shall be entitled to vote in any election for the offices of the provincial governor, vice-governor, and members of the provincial board of the Province of Cebu, and any of such qualified voters can be a candidate for any provincial office."
